John G. Aranda is a native of Arizona who has played and taught for many musical organizations and programs.  He was in regional and all state bands all through high school, as well as the President's Band who played for Ronald Reagan in Las Vegas.  After graduating from Mesa High School, he played in the Sunset Regiment and Velvet Knight Drum Corps.  At the age of 20, he became a percussionist for the Mesa Symphony and started teaching private lessons as a profession.  John has taught for All Star Music, Pop's Music and Mesa High School and he currently teaches at Mesa Community College, Mountain View High School, as well as private lessons.  He has played for many musicals, churches and recordings and enjoys playing all percussion instruments and types of music.
